Skill learning and sharing website

For this project, the objective was to establish a brand identity and digital presence for a new business dedicated to facilitating the sharing of hobbies and skills, and establish connections between users. The deliverables included the creation of a distinctive logo, comprehensive marketing content, and an engaging landing page to showcase the services offered and provide a glimpse into future developments.
After doing extensive amount of desk research I have began the exploration of logo concepts. The focus was on aligning the design with marketing materials and ensuring versatility for use as an icon. The goal was to develop an iconic logo that could be easily recognised by users. The process involved generating numerous options and ideas. The final selection aimed for an iconic design that could seamlessly function as an easily recognisable symbol and adapt to future sub-brands or categories like 'languages,' 'yoga,' and 'art.'

Following the establishment of the Skillsieve brand, attention shifted to defining the colour palette, tone, images, and typography. Subsequently, marketing materials and templates were crafted to empower the client to promote and cultivate brand recognition. These assets were strategically employed across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, to attract potential customers and instructors prior to the platform's official launch.

A thoughtful approach was taken in designing the landing page, with careful consideration, research, and exploration to arrive at a simple layout featuring vibrant colors to accentuate key information and engage users effectively. Additionally, the inclusion of a blog section was implemented, providing a platform for promoting blog posts and enabling users to sign up for email notifications upon the platform's official launch.
